Welcome to our pottery class designed for kids aged 8 years and older! In this creative and hands-on experience, young artists will explore the wonderful world of pottery and unleash their imagination through clay. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, children will learn fundamental pottery techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab-building, as they craft their own unique masterpieces.
Throughout the class, kids will have the opportunity to experiment with different shapes, textures, and colours, allowing them to express their individual creativity and bring their ideas to life. Whether they’re sculpting a playful animal, crafting a functional mug, or designing a decorative vase, each child will have the freedom to explore their artistic vision in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Not only will this class nurture children’s artistic talents, but it will also teach them patience, problem-solving skills, and the satisfaction of seeing their ideas materialise into tangible works of art. Day: Monday or Wednesday 3.30pm for ages: 8yrs + and lasts approx 45 minutes to 1 hr (depending on the child)
